WHAT IS PSYCHOTHERAPY?

Home / WHAT IS PSYCHOTHERAPY?

Psychotherapy is a discovery of the hidden dark corners of our inner world.

Our unanswered questions; unwarranted and exaggerated anxieties; our 'unreasonable' unpleasant thoughts, emotions and behavior; our unconscious attitudes that provoke certain behavior of others towards us; all these 'unknowns' that negatively or positively affect many aspects of our lives are hidden in these so called 'dark corners'.

In the process of psychotherapy the patient, under the light shed by the therapist, explores one by one each memory suppressed into these dark corners, after what together with therapist, investigates the other end of bond (emotions, attitudes, biases, judgements, expectations) to which the certain 'memories' are tied.
